Sun Life Global Solutions Philippines Recognized for Excellence in Workplace Culture and DEI&B

Sun Life Global Solutions (SLGS) Philippines, the Global Capability Centre and microcosm of the global insurance and asset management leader Sun Life, has recently received several prestigious awards. As an exemplary employer, the organization has been certified as a Great Place to Work and cited as one of Prosple’s Top Employers for Fresh Graduates. Based on an independent employee survey, SLGS Philippines has earned the Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification for the fifth time in a row. They achieved outstanding scores in areas such as workplace safety, fairness regardless of sexual orientation, race, or gender, and providing resources to help employees succeed.

Sun Life Global Solutions Philippines gets GPTW certified for the 4th time in a row

Sun Life Global Solutions (SLGS) Philippines, a microcosm of the global insurance and asset management leader Sun Life, is once again certified as a Great Place to Work (GPTW) organization. This is the fourth consecutive year that the organization has received the certification and its first GPTW certification since it repositioned itself as Sun Life Global Solutions. The Survey results draw on the employees’ responses to an independently conducted survey by the Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture. 

The outcome of the survey shows that 93% people feel that they are fairly treated regardless of their sexual orientation, 92% experienced fair treatment regardless of race or gender, 91% affirm that the workplace is physically safe, and 90% shared a sense of pride on being a Sun Lifer and would like to tell others about the same.

Sun Life Global Solutions (SLGS) Philippines appoints Nathalie Bernardo as its new Vice President and Site Head

Sun Life Global Solutions (SLGS), a microcosm of the global insurance and asset management leader Sun Life, today announced that Nathalie Bernardo has been appointed as Vice President and Site Head for Sun Life Global Solutions (SLGS) Philippines. In this new role, Nathalie will be responsible for leading SLGS Philippines organization and furthering strategic imperatives. Her core responsibilities will include driving technology and digital solutions/outcomes for Asia and business operations and client care for Canada and the US.
