Zed announced the launch of its Android app, opening access to the majority of its nearly 200,000-person waitlist and marking a major step in bringing a new kind of credit card to Filipinos across the country.

Built in Silicon Valley and licensed under the BSP, Zed is creating financial products from the ground up for the next generation of young professionals. Zed, a credit-led neobank, announced today it has received its Certificate of Authority to Operate as a standalone credit card issuer from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
